What is URTI and sore throat?

A discomfort in swallowing or speaking resulting in throat strain is generally referred to as sore throat. Most of these are due to infections caused by a virus, such as common cold or flu.** Currently,antibiotics and cough syrups do not provide Quick Symptomatic Relief.

Symptoms of Sore Throat & URTI ***

Swollen or red tonsils with white patches
Hoarse or muffed voice

General Guidelines and Treatment in Sore Throat & URTI

Gargling with warm salt water
Avoid ice cream and cold beverages
Drinking plenty of warm fluids, such as tea, soup and water
